Who We Are
Since 2015, we've over three-quaters of a million data points on our animals from our eighteen consecutive proof runs of consistent genetic merit growth on everything from genomic data to feed growth rates.
Part of the Barber Farms family, we're located in the English county of Lancashire and a journey which started in 2011, with Barber Farms now reaching 250 holsteins on our 151ac. site on the edge of the Forest of Bowland.

The Breeding Programme
The first of its kind anywhere in the United Kingdom, we: measure, create, test and deliver our own bloodline genetic transmission and reverse engineer this to analyse paternal data.
The amount of data we receive on our animals from genomics is too much to waste on a simple linear, therefore we take every scrap of genomic information and use it to create the best possible mating options to craft our next generation.
